In the middle of nowhere, and a surprise. Serious Med-cooking, and top-notch. Near Burg Eltz, so as you wrap up the 'walk' there, this is a 10-minute drive away. Strongly recommend them.

Great that this old building is experiencing such a beautiful use. An extraordinary and courageous idea, but the map, the kitchen and the friendly service leave nothing to be desired. Prices are absolutely in the frame. Many guests mean acceptance of the restaurant. Therefore, it is advisable to reserve seats in advance.

It was our first time to eat in Mertloch today. The platter for two was delicious and plentiful. The dessert is insane. Very nice evening!

The Schweinemedaillons was wonderfully prepared and tasted even better than it looked. Our waitress spoke a little bit of English and was patient when I spoke the little bit of German I knew. I highly recommend this jewel!

Recently frequented this restaurant, the food was very nice and the service was excellent, would highly recommend this place.
